MOUNTAIN BIKING
Since september 2017 Lauwersoog has an official Mountain Bike Route (MTB) straight through the recreational landscape.
You’ll discover loads of cane- and grasslands, young deciduous forests, overgrown sand and clay paths and a huge surface of shallow waters. Big chance you’ll spot some wild animals along the way.

An official MTB route straight through the Lauwersmeer area. Cross on top of the former bottom of the Lauwerssea in a quick flow.
Length: +/- 20 km (12 miles)
You can rent a Mountain Bike at the reception of Siblu Camping Lauwersoog.

This mountain bike track is an official MTB trail. Therefore this trail is marked with the internationally well known wooden poles, with a blue triangle and beneath two circles. The official starting point is at the parking of restaurant Het Booze Wijf.
